The housings of all Voltex MCB devices are moulded from strong self-extinguishing thermoset materials in neutral colour to suit all modern switchboard designs. These MCB’s are built for 35mm DIN rail mounting with the DIN clip of heavy-duty moulded material. MCBs offer protection against short-circuit and overload currents, being a high performance current limiting device with the ability to disconnect short circuits up to 4.5kA. The standard characteristic is C-Curve to suit most applications. They can be used in domestic, commercial and industrial electrical distribution systems.
