A smooth curved surface under the head face is designed to spin the face of the plasterboard without damaging or tearing the surface and will set slightly below the surface for a neat finish.

 

The sharp needle type point is capable of self drilling and fixing through light guage metal up to 0.6mm, without pre-drilling.
